These are great to cook up and keep for when you fancy a mid day or evening snack. They are the perfect, guilt free, alternative to crisps, without all of the saturated fat and artificial flavouring! They are so easy to make, so give them a go and see what you think!

Ingredients

  • 3 large handfuls of kale

  • 1 tsp coconut oil/olive oil

  • Black pepper

  • Paprika

  • Chilli flakes

  • Salt

Method

  1. Pre heat oven to 120º.

  2. Place kale into a large bowl. Melt coconut oil until runny and pour onto the kale, if using olive oil just pour straight onto the kale.

  3. Add your desired amount of seasoning, avoid using too much salt and flavour mainly with black pepper, paprika and chilli flakes.

  4. Stir well so all of the kale is lightly covered with oil and seasoning.

  5. Tip the kale onto a baking try and evenly spread it out. Bake for 10 minutes, or slightly longer if it needs to crisp up more!

  6. Put into a bowl and munch on these kale crisps when you get peckish for a guilt free snack!
