Hello and Welcome!

My name is Tasmyn. I’m a reps level 3 personal trainer based in the Exmouth/Exeter area. I offer local personal training and classes – also online coaching so I can train you wherever you are!

I have a huge passion for helping individuals reach their fitness and lifestyle goals in a sustainable and achievable way. Taking it back to basics and debunking myths! It’s really not rocket science once it’s explained correctly however we live in a society that likes to over complicate everything!

I have been there and done it myself- I’ve lost weight (then put it back on, then lost it again). And as frustrating as it was at the time, it’s given me such a vast understanding of what my clients are up against!

I understand that it’s not always easy but I will be here to guide you through the process and steer you away from making the mistakes I did initially!

My Own Transformation

It’s always a little bit cringe looking back at old photos, but this is my journey and I think it’s important to look back sometimes to see how far you’ve come and that you’re actually doing ok!

I have always been extremely active, playing all of the sports going at school then really getting into rugby and playing it for years all the way through school, college and university. I joined the gym when I was 16 and loved it! However I always loved food more- and still do!! But I have learnt that no matter how much you exercise, if your diet isn’t on point, you will never see the progress that you want! This took me years to grasp!

It’s taken a lot of trial and error but there is no escaping the simple process of calories in vs calories out. If you don’t have this nailed, you will really struggle to ‘out exercise’ a bad diet. The logic behind it is all very simple, however it’s not always easy to implement and I totally sympathise that- it took me a while! So that’s why I want to help as many people as I can! Don’t ever feel like you are struggling on your own- no one is perfect and we are all at different stages in our journey! 

I’ve been there myself and I know the struggles!! There are no shortcuts, no magic pills or shakes. We all want to see results instantly however quick results will never be sustainable! It’s all about making small, achievable changes and forming healthy new habits that will lead to a healthier, fitter and happier life!
